Frame Services

When talking to someone, it is our eyes that we are communicating with. More than our clothes. More than our hair cut. More than our shoes. Frame styles matter. It only stands to reason, your glasses are the immediate accessory that everyone sees. Today, many people view their glasses as they do their jewelry. Would you always wear the same necklace with all of your different clothes? It is clear that style matters, so today we offer hundreds of different frame styles to choose from!

Lens Services

With Spectacle Lenses, there is a wide range of available features.  New technologies has brought us a range in lens power that is virtually unlimited. However, not all available features are right for all of our patients. As such we provide you with a brief discussion of each of these features so when you visit our office you will have some ideas of what features might work best for you. We will discuss all of these and how they fit your needs.

Ocular Disease Treatment

Our doctors have done extensive study into the mechanism of disease that affect the eye. We provide both diagnosis and treatment for most of these conditions. We also have hand picked specialists that we feel are exceptionally skilled at providing specialized care in complex cases. Our services are available 5 days a week. We also provide emergency care when injuries or complications occur in your eyesight. We accept major medical insurance as well as Medicare.

Ocular Trauma

If you have symptoms of  “Flashes of Light” in your vision, when there is no light to explain the flashes, this could mean that there is something happening in the back of the eye. The eye does not have any pain sensors so flashes are your best clue that there is something wrong. In contrast, the cornea (the clear window on the front of the eye) has more nerve pain sensors that any other part of the body.

Pediatric Vision Care

Vision in the broadest sense, is the global ability of the brain to extract, process and act on information presented to the eye. This complex process can be thought of as three major but related areas: visual acuity, which is largely dependent upon refractive status and eye health; visual efficiency skills, representing eye focusing, teaming and tracking skills; and visual information processing, representing the ability to recognize and discriminate visual stimuli and to interpret them correctly based upon previous experience. Every examination we provide for children, regardless of the child’s age, has these thoughts in mind.

Primary Eye Care

Evaluations for eye health disorders are also performed. The American Optometric Association recommends that all people should have a periodic, comprehensive eye examination every one to two years depending on ones particular needs.

Myopia Management

Myopia typically begins in early childhood, often between the ages of 6 and 10, and tends to worsen quickly during the school years as children spend more time reading and using digital devices.
